Fewer than a dozen of these unusual pots with lids were recovered from of the SS Republic wreck site and perhaps served as relish jars in the ship’s dining salon or had been stored among the ship’s cargo. A select number of these original pieces are housed in Odyssey’s permanent artifact collection.
